Which is an adverse effect of warfarin?

Bleeding

Bleeding is the adverse effect because warfarin inhibits vitamin K–dependent clotting factors, tipping the balance toward anticoagulation and increasing the risk of bleeding events such as mucosal bleeding, GI or intracranial hemorrhage. This risk is the main reason INR monitoring and careful dose adjustment are essential during therapy. Purple toe syndrome can occur but is rare and not as common or as clinically central as bleeding. Hypertension and hyperglycemia are not produced by warfarin and reflect other conditions or factors.
